I know nearly every line. So I finally decided to buy the BluRay instead of waiting for it to appear on Netflix or Hulu or something. The copy I received works perfectly and now I can just "watch" it on repeat all day long.

The movie itself is a teen comedy but something that adults can easily enjoy. It has themes that are relatable for many, especially females.

The supporting actors are just as good as the principal actors. Foul mouths, non-witty so-called humorisms, Christian bashing, not really worth watching.

Easy A is a very funny movie starring the lovely and talented Emma Stone. It's clear Emma Stone has a quick wit and impeccable comedic timing by seeing her portray Olive, a modern day Hester Prynne who actually never commits adultery.

You can't ACT like you have good timing. You either have it or you don't. They're a little hippie-dippy, very loving, and incredibly funny in these roles.

Their characters have built a loving home for their daughter and adopted son. You can see where Olive gets her sense of humor as well as her compassion for people.

Not a pleasant memory, since back then I felt sure that making juniors in high school read that was drudgery, not entertainment.

I still think I might be right. I'm not sure, because it was one of many high school required readings that much decreased rather than increased my motivation to ever get around to appreciating later the literary work in question.

Much of the classical literature I've read since high school is, not surprisingly, stuff I escaped being required to read in high school.

If I ever do get back to reading it and find out I can appreciate it finally, then watching this again might be worthwhile. I might get some meaning that I've missed.

But as of now, most of what I can do is wonder what's the appeal of story of a high school student deciding to do an experiment in what happens when she endeavors to make herself look as "slutty" as possible.

What does she plan to get out of said experiment? And how if at all does she plan to get out of the hole she's digging for herself?

For all I can know at present, this movie might be one of those in which a character digs himself or herself too big a hole to ever get out of.

If it was intended so, I'm at a loss to clearly see what this film was made for. Someday I might find out. Should I recommend seeing this movie?

About the same might be true if you're one who read and appreciated "The Scarlet Letter" at a more "mature" age.

But if you're like me and have yet to appreciate "The Scarlet Letter," I might venture to guess you're in a demographic that could afford to miss this movie for now, and maybe check it out later if you ever join the group of those who've red and appreciated that Hawthorne novel.
