The concepts introduced in the film are really really fun to explore as to whether or not physical matter is affected by the elimination of possibilites… or alternate realities… or..

In fact, I think I saw people walk out of the theater during the premiere of the film. Things got so difficult to follow that by the time the movie was over nobody left.

I enjoyed the experience. I did not like walking out of the theater not understanding what I just saw but I guess that was the point. It was more of an experiment and survey than it was a piece of entertainment.

I think I enjoyed the movie but the fact that I even have to question it is just… weird. Mindgamers is a movie made by neuro-scientists which is about as encouraging as a neuro-science made by movie people.

What did you think of the movie? It was mostly boring as dirt, and was very random. Movie was all over the place, plot was barely there, this SEEMED to have an anti-technology "science has gone too far!

Random bits were thrown all over, bad acting. This movie just sucked. Don't let the one positive review fool you, if you want a philosophy lecture or discussion of the brain and consciousness or whatever, watch a lecture, not this bad movie.

A lecture would be far more interesting. I love a cerebral, complex even difficult movie but this wasn't that, just bad.

Trying to make sense of this is like using cotton wool for an anvil. It simply does not work. Not in any universe, however alternate or infinite.

Save your money and your time. Avoid it. I was very excited to watch this movie after reading the brief summary of it online.

The concept seemed interesting to me and it struck me as one of those mind-bending movies that keep you one the edge of your chair until the very end.

Needless to say, I was more than disappointed. The movie was appealing to the eyes, I'll give it that, but that's about all I'll give it.

Not even ten minutes into the movie I was completely lost and was wondering if I had missed some important plot point from the beginning dialogue.

I decided to continue watching with hopes that It would all come together and make sense in the end. It did not. There was not one point in this movie that I knew what was going to happen next, and I don't mean that in a good way.

There was no clear plot or timeline to trace throughout the movie and I felt like I was watching someones fever dream.

I can definitely see the vibe they were going for but they didn't focus enough on plot development or backstory for anything to actually make sense.

Its funny, saying this movie is a waste of time in a way is a spoiler. Its one of those experiences where at the credits end, you look around wonder what went wrong.

You look around the empty theater that has continued to be empty from the moment you arrived and realized you were the only one in a 45 mile radius to fall for this.

You look on the screen after credits, and see some 'intense dude' with his 'futurey' cover of "grapevine" on repeat for 15 minutes.

You think back to the entire process that lead you there: when you first heard about the hype, the possibilities, the purchase of the twenty dollar tickets, and the thrill of driving 45 minutes to Greenville to see the film.

And you find yourself feeling goop-ed out of your time and energy. YouTube does what this movie does on the reg. Mindgamers was a huge let down for me.

The movie was entirely way too long for such a simple premise, and I yawned through more than half the film. The biggest let down was that I wasn't a part of the experiment, although it seemed that I would be when I paid as much as I did.

The trailers were very misleading. I feel as though everything I saw in the theater was something I could have fully enjoyed in a five minute video on youtube.

Thanks a lot Fathom, my birthday sucked. The rest of the movie was a stinker. Boring and confusing with flashbacks.

Watch "The Matrix" instead. Honestly people!!!! So take this as a warning if you have a heart in your chest, and avoid this movie! In this movie, there are various key parts of the story floating around that you must grab and place mentally together.

It's by no means as highbrow as it pretends to be, offering up common knowledge science with a garnishing of religion and parkour on a backdrop of stylish architecture.

The religious aspect to the movie isn't really explained but in areas it is laid on thick. If you check the directors catalogue, he interweaves random bible stuff into his other movies too.

It's a puzzle and I guess only he knows why that stuff is in there. It wasn't the obvious vehicle to carry the story as maybe he hoped?

This is no "Constantine" or "6th day". In all perhaps they shot enough footage to make several movies here, the cast certainly believed they were in a good movie, and there are some try hard parts of it that were reminiscent of Hackers.
