Molly is forced to brutally bash off her infected digit with a rock. With Smalls wounded from the gunshot, Molly puts the zombie in an inflatable raft and begins dragging it behind her.

A short distance from the airfield, the dying zombie becomes too much of a burden. Molly euthanizes Smalls by beating in his head with a large rock.

Molly makes it to the airfield. However, Jimmy and his mechanic Robbie leave for Mexico without her when Molly decides to stay behind and find her son Chase.

Chase answers. The little boy tells Molly that he is alone and hiding from zombies. Molly fights her way through several zombies that Jimmy had locked up to retrieve keys for a convertible parked outside.

Molly drives back to Las Vegas and rescues Chase. As the reunited mother and son prepare to leave, zombies overrun the house.
