Thank you. Overall this movie was very funny and it kept my attention but the goat scene was a bit raw for my taste after he swallowed the pills wouldn't let a young child see that part of the movie though.

A bit "fairy taley". It touches a bit on prejudices, but doesn't address the issue to any depth. I guess they aim at conveying the idea that nowadays, on the face of things there seems to be a problem, but that deep down there isn't really.
I too hope the world is that idyllic place. The film is light hearted and humourous at time, but they could have worked a little more to make it a more real and have a more elaborated twist.
I chose this rating because it was a very good storyline and very funny in parts. A real love story and if you like love stories and a bit of reality included I would recommend this film and it also showed how different nationalities can sometimes get it wrong because they have preconceived ideas about different races.

Every character had friction with one another and sometimes we weren't even privy to the reasons, so not only were we not laughing, we're frustrated as well.
The few laughs were not enough to overcome the frustration and many pointless scenes. Even if they were going for drama instead, there is no sense of drama just from watching characters act in horrible ways because the script tells them to.
I can't really recommend "Our Family Wedding", only possibly to die-hard fans of the genre and fans of America Ferrera. This is a Ferrera we haven't seen before, mature and subdued, and she at least was nice to watch.

And it certainly had very good intentions of being better than it was. But you will get a laugh or two in this film.
The Mexican Spanish speaking actor the Father of the Bride he was really funny. The other guy the father is black father is a actor I've seen before.
Those were pretty good. And the bride and groom did a pretty good job as well. Not the greatest but it was fine.
I think the mail groom actor should have been a little more polished and I know there's a lot of black actors out there that have education and speak clear and articulate but this particular groom actor wasn't the best pic.
But it will do.

Feb 05, Lucia America Ferarra and Marcus Lance Gross , are a perfectly nice and seemingly happy engaged couple until they have to introduce each other to their respected families-both of which are of different ethnicities.
Choosing the engagement dinner to introduce the households, Lucia and Marcus are unpleasantly surprised to discover their fathers Forest Whitaker and Carlos Mencia are already familiar with each other due to a prior disagreement.
With both families forced to compromise their traditions in order to accommodate the other, the fathers' participate in a game of one-upmanship, fire racial insults at one another forbidding the marriage and Lucia and Marcus learn the hard way that the path to saying "I do" can be rife with familial strife.
